it is big. it has lots of functions. i mainly use the function “soup” and “Porridge” because i am lazy in changing functions. i use it to cook brown rice for 6-7 meals in one run, which takes 1 hour. i like the 2 ears of the inner pot.

I’ve nearly had this product for 4 years now and it’s still the best kitchen appliance investment I’ve made. This thing cooks rice absolutely perfectly each time. Fluffy, no remaining water and no crunchy or burnt rice at the bottom. I use this far more often than I originally thought I would.
I finally decided to write a review after a disappointing time with a new slow cooker. After that, I remembered this rice cooker had both a soup and slow cook function as well. I never tried them and now I feel silly for not having done it sooner. My lentil soup came out perfectly in this as well and I am trashing the other slow cooker. Also made a quiche once. So yes, I absolutely recommend this one. It is so convenient.

We are big fans of Zojirushi rice cookers, but they are so flipping expensive in the Netherlands, so we looked for alternatives and found this one.
Fabulous brown rice on the first try and today we went for Tahdig, which we had a separate rice cooker for in the US. The pic says it all…perfectly cooked, perfectly crispy crust, we all loved it. This rice cooker is soooo good!

Eigentlich wollte ich nie einen Reiskocher haben. Wofür auch. Reis in einen Topf, Wasser drauf, ab auf den Herd, ein wenig im Auge behalten und fertig ist der Reis. Alles kein Hexenwerk.
Nun habe ich aber einen Reiskocher und ich nutze ihn wie blöde. Der Reis ist immer perfekt. Sushi Reis so wie vom Japaner um die Ecke. Zart oder bissfest wie man es gerne haben möchte. Macht keine Arbeit und super einfach zum saubermachen. Gemüse damit dünsten während der Reis gart ist ein Traum. Was ich noch nicht probiert habe ist damit zu backen. Werde ich aber bestimmt auch mal probieren.
Alles super. Einziges Manko, er kann keine Milchreis. Das wäre noch der Supertraum gewesen von meiner Tochter. Ist aber nicht die Schuld des Reiskochers sondern eher der der Milch. Von mir aus daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Zeer tevreden over deze alleskunner. Hij staat mooi, gebruiken hem vrijwel iedere dag. Je kunt er werkelijk van alles mee bereiden / stomen / opwarmen e.d., niet alleen rijst, maar ook dumplings, loempia’s, zelfs brood en vast nog meer waar ik nog niet achter ben gekomen.

We really like this product. So far it was very good to use it and our rice turns out very nice. One criticism is the size, our kitchen is not very big and this device takes up a lot of space on the counter. Just be aware of that. Otherwise, amazing product so far.
P.s. if we buy it again, we would go for a smaller alternative called Panda 🐼

Jag har använt Yum Asia Sakura Riskokare i nästan 2 år nu, och jag kan ärligt säga att den är fantastisk! Den är utan tvekan en av de bästa köksapparater jag har köpt.
Laga perfekt ris:
Med den avancerade fuzzy-logiken justerar riskokaren automatiskt värme och tid, vilket ger perfekt resultat varje gång. Oavsett om jag gör jasminris, basmatiris eller klibbigt ris, blir det alltid fluffigt och jämnt tillagat. Jag har aldrig haft så bra ris hemma tidigare!
Keramisk skål:
Den keramiska skålen är en stor fördel. Inte bara för att den är non-stick, utan också för att den känns mer hållbar och hälsosammare än traditionella beläggningar. Riset fastnar aldrig, och det är superlätt att rengöra efteråt.
Program och funktioner:
Riskokaren har många olika inställningar, från ris och gröt till ångkokning och långkok. Jag älskar särskilt att jag kan ställa in en timer för att ha riset klart när jag vill. Den håll-varm-funktionen är också praktisk och håller riset varmt och färskt i flera timmar utan att torka ut det.
Design:
Den kompakta, stilrena designen passar perfekt på min köksbänk och tar inte upp för mycket plats. Den ser dessutom snygg ut, vilket är ett plus i mitt moderna kök.
Sammanfattning:
Jag är extremt nöjd med min Yum Asia Sakura riskokare. Den gör vardagsmatlagningen så mycket enklare och roligare, och den levererar alltid perfekt ris. Om du letar efter en högkvalitativ riskokare med smarta funktioner och enkel användning, så är denna ett självklart val. Väl värd pengarna!
